EAS (Electronic Advanced Systems), Electronics Industry and Trade Inc., has been the pioneer and the leader in innovative smart card technology applications in Turkey and the Middle East Region since 1999. EAS has been pursuing engineering research and development activities, specifically in smart card (including both contact and contactless types) applications with its competent R&D team and with extensive use of CAD, CAM, CAE and micro-computer development systems for almost ten years. EAS has developed and produced wireless devices and numerous state-of-the-art products that operate with low voltage and low current. Its production facilities are equipped with appropriate test systems to run the required Environmental Conditions tests, and furthermore certified calibration and testing apparatus are available to calibrate the utilities meters and to run ESD and EMI tests.

The founder, and the President, of the company, Dr. Naim Sungur (Ph.D. in Physics) owns numerous patents regarding smart electronic utilities meters and various innovative applications of smart contact and contactless card technologies. He has supplied licenses and technology transfers to a number of companies in Turkey and abroad.
 

EAS products offer exceptional levels of performance and design features without ignoring the importance of cost factors. The experience accumulated over the years in smart electronic meters is evident in that more than 900.000 prepayment meters have been manifactured with EAS licenses and are in use in Turkey. This application is considered as one of the largest and most successful prepayment applications in the world.
